12/21/09 george got bilateral pneumonia while in hospital

12/24/09 talking to doctors about surgery on pancreas, waiting to see if he needs a treach but Dr. is optimistic, he is weening off the ventilator possibly

1/3/10 george is now on an internal medicine floor at hopkins

12/31/09 big guy is going to hopkins in baltimore

1/2/10 big george is off the ventilator !!!! out of sedation and talking !!! hopefully he will be moved to a med surge floor, last update is no surgery needed as of now, c'mon big guy!!!

Hello all,

This is where the magic is going to happen!!!!! We all LOVE big george and his family!! George is the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back and if he didnt have one he would find one! unfortunally the big guy has fallen on some hard times with a medical condition that has put him down and out for some time!! so lets all show our love and support for him and his family in their time of need!! I (casey childs a.k.a. the dent guy) and several other people are trying to raise a little money to help the family out, for all of your generous donations we will pay you all back in the joy of you guys watching us do the polar plunge @ sandy point on 1/30/10.  by helping them out you get to giggle in the fact that you all will be warm while we plunge for george!!
